Video Del Curso De Formación «Empowering Women For Equality»

Information in English:

As youth workers, we have an important role and it is essential to carry out educative actions for equality and for more equitable, respectful and peaceful relations.

Today’s society has normalized many sexist behaviors and attitudes, making them customary and accepted by the majority, but we have to change this situation and, as youth professionals, we have to carry out a better quality and more efficient work, as well as designing tools to empower women making women the protagonist of this fight towards equality. This video is the participatory work of eight European organizations that, within the framework of the Project «Empowering Women for Equality», co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, have been get together and trained for 6 days in the city of Málaga (Spain).

The Project is based on the framework of non-formal education, so content has been worked on a dynamic and entertaining way, it was a «learning by doing», which emphasized on the active participation of all actors. In addition to the training sessions (conceptualization, the role of women in society, exchange of good practices, and creation of learning games), a cultural visit to Málaga and a visibility activity during the Municipal Skating Games have been carried out.

Thanks for the collaboration to “La Noria” Social Innovation Centre, Málaga Provincial Council, Andalusian Youth Institute, Al-Andalus Skating Club, Ruben Alcántara Skatepark, Málaga Deporte y Eventos and the rapper and artist Eskarnia.
